Monthly Language Report #2

I failed to make a language report for the month of February. /facepalm I feel like it’s still January. I wish time would slow down or at least let me fast forward to June or July. I didn’t have time to make a video and my internet connection is so slow, it won’t let me upload large files nowadays. T^T So I just recorded an audio instead. 😀 When I recorded this, I was feeling sleepy so please excuse my voice if it sounds lifeless or boring. XD

Monthly Language Report #1

I decided to join Hyunwoo’s Monthly Language Report project. Basically, the members will post a video of them speaking in the language they are learning. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a monthly thing. So it’s okay if members can’t post a video every month if they’re busy. But still, it would be wonderful if everyone can upload a video every month. I wonder if I can keep up with this project and upload every month but I’ll do my best to do so. I really need to practice writing and talking about a certain topic, not just one liners.

I don’t have a camera that can take a decent video and my DSLR can’t record any videos, so I just recorded my voice instead. I’ll show my face to the world once I get a camera. I’ll buy one probably next month or March. I’m still looking for a good camera. I’ve been reading reviews and I’m still comparing cameras so I still don’t know what brand and which model to buy yet.

Anyway, I’d like to apologize for my hoarse voice. I recorded the audio at 2 in the morning and I was trying not to make a noise since I don’t want to wake anyone up. I was also very sleepy so I stuttered a lot throughout the video. 😦 I recorded the audio without preparing any script. I deleted the “uhmmmmm…” parts. Haha! You guys don’t need to hear that. XD

I really didn’t know what to talk about and since it’s my first MLR, I thought that introducing myself is a good start. I made a lot of mistakes and as you can see, I still get confused with particles from time to time. Need to work on that. And I still haven’t completely fixed my ㅈ. It still sounds a little bit like ㅊ but it’s better now than before.

I sound like one of the people in the audio tracks in the CD from Korean textbooks. So emotionless. Robotic. LOL!

I love how this project helps me realize my strengths and weaknesses. I made a mental note on things I should improve on. Hopefully, my next MLRs will be a whole lot better than this. I’ll do my best. :3
